OAKLAND, Calif. – The 2015 NBA Champion Golden State Warriors were honored tonight by the San Francisco/Northern California Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences with three EMMY® Awards in the categories of Sporting Game-Live/Unedited, Sports-Daily or Weekly Program/Series and Sports-Feature/Segment. The EMMY® Awards were presented Saturday, June 4 at the 45th Annual Northern California Area EMMY® Awards at the SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco and recognized excellence in all fields of television and on-line production throughout the 2015 calendar year.
Warriors TV broadcasters Bob Fitzgerald, Jim Barnett and Rosalyn Gold-Onwude took home an EMMY® for their broadcast of the Warriors vs. Kings game on CSN Bay Area when the Warriors defeated the Kings 126-101 on January 23, 2015 highlighted by Warriors All-Star guard Klay Thompson’s NBA record 37 point third quarter.
