Warriors Host African American Heritage Night on Monday, February 10
Portion Of Event Proceeds Benefit 100 Black Men Of The Bay Area, Inc. First 10,000 Fans Receive Wilt Chamberlain Bobblehead, Courtesy Of Kia
The Golden State Warriors will hold their first-ever African American Heritage Night on Monday, February 10 against the Philadelphia 76ers at Oracle Arena (7:30 p.m.), it was announced today. A portion of event night ticket sales will benefit the 100 Black Men of the Bay Area, Inc., a scholarship and mentoring organization for African American youth living in the Bay Area. The first 10,000 fans who enter Oracle Arena for African American Heritage Night will also receive a Wilt Chamberlain Bobblehead, courtesy of Kia.
Fans in attendance will enjoy a West African cultural performance by Dimensions Dance Theatre during halftime, a pregame performance by the California Step Association, as well as themed cuisine available at Oracle Arena behind section 218. Fans who purchase an African American Heritage Night event ticket will also receive a limited-edition African American Heritage Night t-shirt.
