The Golden State Warriors will hold an Open Practice, presented by DraftKings, at Oracle Arena on Wednesday, October 12 at 6:00 p.m., the team announced today. Tickets for the Open Practice will go on sale starting Wednesday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m.. The first 2,500 fans who enter into a free DraftKings contest at warriors.com will receive two (2) lower bowl tickets to the Open Practice, a complimentary t-shirt, the opportunity to win King of the Court floor seats for the Open Practice, along with the opportunity to win two (2) tickets to Opening Night on Tuesday, October 25 at Oracle Arena. Additionally, fans can purchase tickets to the Open Practice for $5 at warriors.com, with all proceeds benefiting the Warriors Community Foundation. Parking is FREE with parking gates opening at 4:00 p.m. and doors opening at 5:00 p.m. Concessions will also be available. For fans unable to attend, the Open Practice will be streamed live on warriors.com starting at 6:00 p.m.
Prior to Open Practice, Warriors Head Coach Steve Kerr will participate in a Q&A moderated by a Warriors broadcaster. Fans will also have the opportunity to see the Warriors in-person with a rare behind-the-scenes look at a team practice.
The Warriors will open the 2016-17 regular season on Tuesday, October 25 against the San Antonio Spurs at Oracle Arena. Tickets for Opening Night are still available and can be purchased at warriors.com, or by calling 888-GSW-HOOP. Single game tickets for all 2016-17 Warriors regular season home games are also currently available through the Warriors official resale marketplace, where season ticket holders and other fans resell tickets that are guaranteed by the Warriors organization.
