Dubs Seen and Heard

Established 1946 | 7-time NBA Champions

Started on Monday now we’re here. This week has been an eventful one for several Dubs players as they aim to get the most out of their remaining days of summer before basketball season officially tips off with training camp later this month. From hanging out with the First Lady and Ellen to being pulled on stage at a high-profile rap concert, the Dubs are certainly ending their summer with a bang.

It started with Kevin Durant, fresh off his gold medal winning performance at the Rio Games, attending the season-opening edition of Monday Night Football near his childhood home in Washington, D.C., continued with Draymond Green critiquing his new teammate’s fashion accessories at said MNF game on Conan and also featured Stephen Curry showcasing his crossover appeal on Ellen, which just happened to be cohosted by Michelle Obama.

Good times for sure, and they continued on back-to-back nights when Drake brought up Warriors players on stage during his two concerts at Oracle Arena this week. Durant graced the stage on Tuesday night as Drake sported his number 35 Warriors jersey, and then it was Curry and Green’s turn to hit the stage on Wednesday as Dub Nation roared in approval.

It won’t be long until those roars return to a basketball setting on Warriors Ground, but for now, the players are content to enjoy the opportunities that present themselves in the summer.
