STILL STREAKING
The Warriors put their current 11-game winning streak on the line when they host the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday night. This will be the four and final matchup between the teams this season after Golden State prevailed in two of their first three encounters. With a victory, Golden State would set the NBA record for the most regular season victories (204) over any three-season span in league history. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Watch the action on NBC Sports Bay Area Plus and ESPN (local blackout), or listen to the call on 95.7 The Game on the Warriors Radio Network.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK (AGAIN)
There aren’t many other players in the league – if any – that can put on a show quite like the reigning two-time MVP, which Stephen Curry did on multiple occasions last week on his way to being named Western Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season. Curry averaged 31.8 points, 7.8 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in 34.8 minutes during the week, hitting 52.4 percent from the field and 47.6 percent from three-point range. With another 20 three-pointers over the four-game span, Curry reached the 300-three-point threshold (302) for the second-straight season after hitting an NBA-record 402 threes in 2015-16. With only five games remaining in the regular season, Curry owns averages of 25.2 points, 6.5 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.8 steals per contest, putting him on pace to become the first Warriors player to average at least 25.0 points per game in consecutive seasons since Chris Mullin did so in five-straight seasons from 1988 to 1992.

MINNESOTA SCOUTING REPORT
The Timberwolves were a popular pick to make the playoffs at the beginning of the season, but their 2016-17 campaign has not played out that way. At 31-45, they currently sit in 12th place in the Western Conference and have already been mathematically eliminated from playoff contention. Still, few teams have played the Warriors as well as Minnesota has over the last couple years, and they possess more than adequate talent to play the role of a spoiler. Karl-Anthony Towns is one of the best young big men in the entire league, and his running mate Andrew Wiggins is nothing to scoff at either. Wiggins, in fact, hit the game-winning free throws the last time these two teams met, a 103-102 Timberwolves victory in Minnesota back on March 10th. That was the last time the Warriors lost a game in which Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala played, as the Dubs’ sat that foursome the following night in San Antonio and have won every game since.
