MAKING HISTORY
Golden State notched their 60th win of the season against the Rockets on Tuesday, which places them in some very exclusive company. With that victory, they became the sixth team in NBA history with three consecutive 60-win seasons after never reaching the 60-win plateau in the 68 years prior. Those three seasons happen to coincide with Steve Kerr’s tenure as head coach, and he too made history on Tuesday night. The win was the 200th of his regular season coaching career (in just 238 games), making him the fastest coach to 200 victories in the history of the four major professional sports. The Warriors and Kerr have been a lethal combination ever since joining forces in May of 2014, and with only eight games remaining on their regular season schedule, they’ll have their eyes set on making more history together come playoff time.

SAN ANTONIO SCOUTING REPORT
Surprise, surprise. The San Antonio Spurs are headed to the playoffs as one of the top teams in the league. At 57-16, the Spurs currently occupy the second seed in the Western Conference, sitting 2.5 games back of the Warriors in first. San Antonio has already clinched the season series against Golden State, however, which would be the deciding tiebreaker if the two teams were to finish the regular season with identical records. Kawhi Leonard continues to produce as one of the top two-way players in the entire league and is tied for eighth in the NBA with an average of 26.0 points per game. The Spurs and Warriors rank first and second in the league, respectively, in defensive efficiency, so point could be at a premium when the two sides meet for the final time in the regular season on Wednesday.
