GAME LEADERS

Klay Thompson recorded his second straight 40-point game and the Warriors picked up a 117-105 win over the 76ers on Easter Sunday on Warriors Ground.

The two-way two-guard shot 15-for-27 from the field and made seven 3-pointers while matching a career-long streak of three games with at least 30 points. Stephen Curry added 20 points and eight assists, Draymond Green came through with his 12th triple-double of the season (13 points, 11 rebounds, 11 assists) and Marreese Speights had a big game off the bench against his former team as the Dubs improved to 66-7 on the season.

The 76ers kept it close early and the game was tied at 40-40 in the second quarter before the Warriors rallied with a 13-0 run. Speights had everything to do with that run, scoring eight of his 17 in less than a minute and a half. Speights made all six of his shot attempts in the first half, including a heat check 3-pointer of the catch-and-shoot variety.

Speights, who had 15 points in less than nine first half minutes, led a bench brigade that came through after the starters were a little sluggish at the start. Ian Clark, Leandro Barbosa and Brandon Rush each had a plus/minus rating of more than 10 in the first half, and they set the tone for a second quarter in which the Dubs shot 16-for-21 (76.2 percent) to just 9-for-26 (34.6 percent) for Philadelphia.

The Dubs outscored Philadelphia 39-24 in the second quarter and took a 71-55 lead into halftime. It was the second straight 70-point first half for the Warriors, who extended their home winning streak to 53 games.

The Warriors will wrap up their homestand on Tuesday when they host the Washington Wizards on Hardwood Classics Night at Oracle Arena.
