The Warriors dominated the Knicks on their way to recording their 50th straight regular season home win.

GAME LEADERS

The Warriors shot 18-for-37 from 3-point range and cruised to a 121-85 win over the New York Knicks on Wednesday night at Oracle Arena. The victory completed a 6-0 homestand for the Dubs, who have now won an NBA record 50 straight regular season home games.

The Warriors are the first team in the history of the four American professional sports leagues to win 50 straight home games, and this one wasn’t ever really in question.

Five different players connected on a trey on Wednesday, including a career-high three by red-hot Marreese Speights (13 points), and the first ever for James Michael McAdoo. Of course, when on the subject of 3-point shooting, rarely can anyone outperform the Splash Brothers. Stephen Curry was 8-of-13 from distance for a game-high 34 points and Klay Thompson added five 3-pointers on nine attempts to finish with 19 points.

After a shaky four-minute stretch to start the game in which the Dubs missed their first six shots, the Warriors quickly recovered and their offense was pretty much unstoppable for the rest of the way. They topped the 120-point plateau for the fourth consecutive game and dished out 32 assists – their 35th game this season with at least 30.

Draymond Green tallied a double-double (10 assists, 11 rebounds) and Andrew Bogut had 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists in addition to anchoring a defense that held the Knicks to less than 40 percent shooting.

Now 61-6 on the season, the Warriors will have to wait a week before they get a chance to extend their NBA record home winning streak. But first, they head out a three-game road trip that tips off on Friday in Dallas.
