Leandro Barbosa led the Dubs with 15 points while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson contributed 14 points apiece. As a team, the Warriors shot 50.0 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from three-point range, while combining for 29 assists. Next up on the preseason slate is a matchup with the Trail Blazers in Portland on Thursday.

The Splash Brothers carried the scoring burden early on, as Curry (7) and Thompson (6) combined for the Warriors’ first 13 points of the game. Two baskets from Marreese Speights and a Leandro Barbosa finger roll capped a 12-4 run for the Dubs before Andre Iguodala’s three-pointer sent the two sides into the second quarter with the Warriors holding a slim 22-20 advantage. Six consecutive points from Toronto’s Luis Scola would eventually tie things up at 26 early in the second frame, at which point Golden State’s offensive ball movement began to click on all cylinders. Shaun Livingston passed to Barbosa for the ensuing score, beginning a stretch in which nine of the Warriors’ final 10 made baskets of the first half came by way of an assist. DeMar DeRozan would sink three free throws with a tenth of a second left in the second quarter to send the game into halftime with Golden State leading 53-46. In total, the Warriors accounted for 17 assists on their 20 first half baskets.
