For the second time in as many games in this NBA Finals, the Warriors and Cavaliers went into overtime. Only this time, the Dubs could not make the plays when they mattered most, as they fell into a 1-1 series tie following Sunday’s 95-93 nail-biter of a defeat.

“This is The Finals. It’s hard, it's supposed to be hard,” Head Coach Steve Kerr said. “We had a tough night. So you have to move on. You've got to learn from it and get better. And that's what we're going to do.”

The fact that the game went into overtime was improbable to say the least. Other than Klay Thompson, who matched his postseason career-high with 34 points, the Warriors had struggled to make shots all game. They found themselves down by 11 with 3:12 left in the fourth quarter, but 3-pointers from Andre Iguodala and Stephen Curry put the Dubs back in the game, and Curry tied it when he finished off a drive with a finger roll with eight seconds left in regulation. The Cavs missed a pair of potential game-winning attempts at the end of regulation, and the Warriors survived to see another five minutes.
