The Warriors saw their eight-game winning streak come to an end in a 127-115 loss in Oklahoma City.

GAME LEADERS

The Warriors were on the short end of a 127-115 shootout tonight in Oklahoma City. Klay Thompson led the Warriors with 32 points, but it wasn’t enough to keep the team’s eight-game streak from coming to an end.

The Warriors were a few disastrous quarter-ending plays away from leading going into the fourth quarter, but the Thunder pulled away down the stretch behind the play of their big three. Kevin Durant had a game-high 36 points, Serge Ibaka matched a career-high with 27 points and Russell Westbrook was an absolute terror with 17 points, 17 assists and 15 rebounds, becoming the first Warriors opponent in nearly two years to post a triple-double.

The Warriors were shorthanded with Andre Iguodala and Andrew Bogut both sitting out – Head Coach Steve Kerr wanted to rest them with the team playing again on Saturday in Houston – and the Thunder took advantage. Oklahoma City attacked the rim all night and scored 58 points in the paint while shooting 56.2 percent from the floor, both season-highs for a Warriors opponent.
