GAME LEADERS

The Warriors continued their strong play in their final game of 2014 with a 126-86 win over the visiting 76ers on Tuesday. Golden State leaped out to a 15-point lead after one quarter and never looked back, outscoring Philadelphia by an average of 10 points per frame. Marreese Speights was efficient in his 24 minutes, scoring a game-high 23 points on 9-for-13 shooting. Stephen Curry scored 13 and dished a game-high nine assists in 27 minutes of action. After not playing in the first half, Leandro Barbosa went on to score 17 points after the intermission.

With Warriors centers Andrew Bogut and Festus Ezeli sidelined, Philadelphia was able to outrebound Golden State 48-42, including an 18-8 advantage on the offensive glass. The Warriors forced them to commit 27 turnovers, however, which in turn led to 29 fast break points. The Dubs will head into the new year winners of two in-a-row, but waiting on the other side are the Toronto Raptors, currently ranked first in the Eastern Conference. Tickets are still available for the Friday night showdown at Oracle Arena.
