GAME LEADERS

For the first time in franchise history, the Warriors have won 12 games in a row. Draymond Green ensured the winning streak would continue on Saturday with a career-high 31 points in a 112-102 road win in Chicago.

Green shot 7-for-13 on 3-pointers, including a pair of triples during a 12-3 run in the fourth quarter that all but put the game away. Klay Thompson added 24 points as the Dubs pushed their record to an NBA-best 17-2.

As good as the Dubs played to finish the game – they out-scored Chicago 33-22 in the fourth quarter – it definitely didn’t start that way. The Warriors missed their first seven shots of the game and saw double-digit leads disappear on two occasions. A game defined by runs saw Golden State and Chicago combine for five spurts of at least nine unanswered points.

The Bulls, who had been 10-0 when holding a lead going into the fourth quarter, held a one-point advantage going into the final period. Then, as has been the case on multiple occasions this season, the Warriors got a spark from Marreese Speights. The backup big man scored nine of his 11 points in the fourth quarter, and Stephen Curry secured the win with five free throws in the final 30 seconds to give him 19 points and seven assists for the night.
