LET THE SHOW BEGINComing off of two consecutive trips to the playoffs, the Warriors are ready to start their run for a third. The 2014-15 season tips off in Sacramento on Wednesday night and the Dubs will look to continue their dominance over their Northern California neighbor. Last season's series between the Warriors and Kings saw a 4-0 sweep by Golden State, and now this division rivalry will proceed to the next chapter with Steve Kerr set to make his regular season coaching debut. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and fans will be able to catch the action live on CSN Bay Area and KNBR 680.

READY FOR THE NEXT STEPForget the phrase, "Familiarity breeds contempt." The Warriors of 2014-15 are banking on something to the effect of, "Familiarity breeds contentment." A team that won 51 games last season returns its top seven players in terms of minutes played: guards Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, swingman Andre Iguodala, forwards David Lee, Draymond Green and Harrison Barnes, and center Andrew Bogut. This continuity is a major factor in why this Warriors team could be looking at bigger and better things this season. Read More | Roster Breakdown

WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TOWhile the core of the 2014-15 Warriors remains intact from a season ago, there remains plenty to be seen on how this new campaign will shape up. And even though the Warriors are coming off their most wins since the 1991-92 season, there is still plenty of room for improvement. The top three ways in which the Warriors can be better from a year ago are establishing a more efficient offense, consistent bench production and better using one of the greatest home court advantages in sports. The tools are in place for all three, and warriors.com's Brian Witt delves deeper here. Read Full Story

IN CASE YOU MISSED ITThe Warriors went 6-2 in the preseason, closing out the exhibition slate with a 119-112 win over the Nuggets on Friday night. With Coach Kerr stressing the importance of ball distribution in training camp, the Warriors led the NBA in preseason scoring (110.9 ppg), shooting percentage (.513), assists (28.1 apg) and point differential (+11.0). Klay Thompson had 35 points in the preseason finale and could be set for a breakout season after his stellar performance with Team USA this summer at the FIBA World Cup.

SACRAMENTO SCOUTING REPORTThe Kings head in to the 2014-15 season looking to end a streak of six-straight seasons with at least 54 losses. Sacramento has gone eight full seasons without a playoff appearance but they're hoping that will come to the end on the shoulders of DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay. Both players averaged 20+ points per game last season and they each won gold medals alongside Splash Brothers Curry and Thompson at the 2014 FIBA World Cup in Spain. In fact, the Warriors and Kings were the only two teams to have multiple players on the U.S. squad this summer. On paper, the Kings are indeed an improved team from a season ago, but like the Warriors, they'll have to prove that on the court.
