GAME LEADERS

The Warriors fell to 4-2 in the preseason after losing to the Rockets 90-83 on Sunday night. Despite playing without Stephen Curry or Klay Thompson, who sat out the game, the Warriors were in it until the end but fell just short. Justin Holiday led all scorers with 18 points, while Nemanja Nedovic impressed with 16 points and five assists.

David Lee joined the Splash Brothers on the bench early in the second quarter and sat for the rest of the contest. The absence of the Warriors typical starting trio gave some of the younger players a chance to get some valuable minutes. Holiday showed off his range, going 4-of-8 from three-point range, while Nedovic seemed to be able to get to the basket at will. Ognjen Kuzmic and Aaron Craft both found ways to fill up the stat sheet as well.

After opening the preseason on a four-game win streak, Golden State has lost the last two contests; however, they’ve yet to play a home game. That will change come Tuesday when the Warriors host the rival Clippers in their first of two home games to conclude the preseason.
