The Warriors used a 30-5 run to open the second half to extend their winning streak to nine games today after defeating the Wizards 112-96. David Lee, Andrew Bogut and Stephen Curry all recorded double-doubles, while Klay Thompson led all scorers with 26 points, including six three-pointers. The victory pushes the Dubs’ record to 23-13 and gives them their longest win streak in a single season since 1975-76. The Warriors now share a piece of the Pacific Division lead, the latest into a season they’ve led the division since March 2, 1992. Now 5-0 on their season-long seven-game road trip, the Warriors will look to keep the momentum rolling when they take on the Bucks on Tuesday.
