For every big bucket made by the Warriors the Rockets had an answer in Friday’s 116-112 loss at Oracle Arena. Marreese Speights fueled a fourth-quarter run with 12 of his 16 points in the period and David Lee (23 points, 10 rebounds), Harrison Barnes (20 points, 12 rebounds) and Andrew Bogut (10 points, 11 rebounds) each had double-doubles, but the Warriors couldn’t fully rekindle their comeback magic after trailing by 11 points late in the third quarter. Stephen Curry tallied 20 points and nine assists on the night and the Warriors out-rebounded Houston 56-32, but the Rockets sunk 12 of their 29 3-point attempts to pick up their 18th win in their last 22 games against the Dubs. Now 13-11 on the season, the Warriors will have a day off before returning to action on Sunday in Phoenix.
