The Splash Brothers led the Warriors to a 98-87 win over the Sacramento Kings at Oracle Arena on Saturday night. Stephen Curry recorded his first double-double of the season (22 points, 12 assists) and in the process surpassed 5,000 career points. Klay Thompson had another huge night with 27 points and seven rebounds, David Lee 15 points and 12 boards for his first double-double of the season and Andrew Bogut added six points, six boards, and four blocks. The Warriors shot 51.3% from the field while holding the Kings to just 34.5 percent in the team’s first Short Sleeve Saturday game, presented by adidas. The Warriors debuted their white short sleeve alternative uniforms in this game, and they will wear the new threads for each of the five remaining Saturday home games. Now 2-1 on the young season, the Warriors will open a four-game road trip on Monday in Philadelphia.
