Warriors Face the Press on the Eve of the NBA Finals

Established 1946 | 7-time NBA Champions

NBA Finals Media Day – when credentialed staff out-number basketball players by a ratio of about 15 to 1. On the eve of their first NBA Finals appearance in 40 years, the Warriors were at Oracle Arena on Wednesday, and joining them was a couple hundred reporters, columnists, camera people and other media members to cover the scene.

On the court, the Warriors are preparing for their best-of-seven series against the Cavaliers as they would any series during this postseason run. Practicing on their home court instead of the normal Downtown Oakland practice facility was a logistical change to the team’s usual routine, but the team remains focused on the ultimate goal, even if there are more eyes, lights, microphones and camera equipment to navigate through on the way to tackling that task.

Check out the photos below for some of the scene from the 2015 NBA Finals Media Day.
