BOSTON - The Mass. State Lottery and the Boston Celtics hosted the first “Lunch with the Legends” for winners of the $2 Boston Celtics Instant Ticket Second Chance Bonus Drawings on Saturday, Sept. 7. Celtics Legends Jo-Jo White, Dave Cowens and Cedric Maxwell participated in a special question and answer session and signed autographs for 40 lucky winners and their guests. The winners also enjoyed behind the scenes access to the Boston Celtics Practice facility.
Upon arrival, fans got the chance to check out the exclusive memorabilia in the Hall of Fame room and were then treated to a buffet lunch. Following lunch, the winners were escorted onto the Celtics practice court and treated to the question and answer session with the three Celtics Legends.
White, Cowens and Maxwell hung around after the question and answer session to sign autographs and pose for pictures with the 1984 World Championship trophy. The players also accompanied the guests during a tour of the locker room.
The Mass. State Lottery and the Boston Celtics are committed to bringing the team, the fans, and the Legends closer together through unique and memorable events as part of the $2 Celtics Instant Game Second Chance Bonus Drawings. There will be four more luncheons taking place throughout the remainder of the year.
