Harvard Pilgrim Health Care is the Official Health Care Provider of the Boston Celtics. Through the years with HPHC, we have hosted an exclusive luncheon for our valued season ticket holders, Celtics owners and executives, and our corporate partners. 2013 marks the 10-year anniversary of our partnership making this year’s event extra special. On April 11, attendees gathered at the Revere Hotel in Boston’s Back Bay for a memorable afternoon. Some of the VIP guests included Celtics Managing Partner & CEO, Wyc Grousbeck; Celtics Managing Partner, Steve Pagliuca; and HPHC Senior VP of Sales & Customer Service, Vin Capozzi who was gifted a framed Celtics jersey featuring the number “10” to commemorate the partnership.
After lunch was served, a discussion on the importance of team work and how it contributes to success was represented through an all-star coaching panel hosted by Sports Illustrated NBA Columnist Ian Thomsen. Joining Thompsen on the panel was Head Coach of the Harvard University Men’s Basketball Team, Tommy Amaker; former head coach of the UCONN Huskies Men’s Basketball Team, Jim Calhoun; recently named head coach of the WNBA Connecticut Suns, Anne Donovan; and former NBA coach, Dave Cowens.
