BOSTON – The Boston Celtics announced today that they have recalled center Vitor Faverani from their NBA Development League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws.
Faverani, a 6’11” center, has appeared in four games for the Red Claws this season where he has averaged 19.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.25 blocks in 32.5 minutes per game. In his most recent assignment to Maine he appeared in one game against the Delaware 87ers on February 4 where he recorded 27 points, eight rebounds and one block.
