Celtics Trade O’Bryant

BOSTON, MA - The Boston Celtics announced today that the club has traded center Patrick O'Bryant to the Toronto Raptors as part of a three team trade also involving the Sacramento Kings. The Celtics acquire a future conditional second round draft pick from Sacramento. The Kings received guard Will Solomon from Toronto and cash considerations from Boston.

O'Bryant, a 7'0", 249lb center, is in his third NBA season. The former ninth overall pick in the 2006 Draft from Bradley appeared in a career-high 26 games for the Celtics averaging 1.5 points and 1.3 rebounds in 4.2 minutes per game. O'Bryant netted a season-high five points, grabbed a season-high four rebounds and had a season-high three blocks against Sacramento on December 28.
