Bucks Head Coach Jason Kidd and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin teamed up to provide a memorable experience for a young fan. Selah, a 14-year-old girl from Sacramento, Calif., grew up a big Kidd fan and spent her childhood with her dad, who has now passed away, watching Kidd play. Selah recently underwent a liver transplant, and as she recovers from the procedure her wish is to get back to playing basketball and learn some tips from her favorite player, while also rekindling some of the memories of the time she shared with her dad watching Kidd play.
Selah and her family visited Bucks shootaround at the Orthopaedic Hospital of Wisconsin Training Center, where she had the opportunity to join Coach Kidd on the court to chat about basketball. Selah was also a special guest at Milwaukee's game vs. Miami, where she enjoyed early access to watch warmups, see the game from VIP seats, and was recognized on the scoreboard during the game.
