Selected by Sacramento out of the University of Kansas in the second round (34th overall) of the 2017 NBA Draft ... Signed a contract with the Kings (7/13/17).


Marks the second consecutive year the team drafted a senior, both overall and in the second round of the NBA draft (Isaiah Cousins, Oklahoma, 59th overall) ... In franchise history, the Kings have selected five other players out of the University of Kansas, with Walt Wesley being the first when he was selected with the sixth overall pick in the 1966 NBA Draft by the Cinncinati Royals ... Joins Ryan Robertson as the only other KU player selected by the franchise in the second round of the draft.
