• Played two seasons at the University of Virginia, where he held career averaged of 5.5 points on 54.4% shooting, 5.0 rebounds and 1.7 blocks in 65 games (34 starts)
• Averaged 8.1 points on 54.8% shooting, 6.9 rebounds and 2.3 blocks in 34 games (all starts) in his second and final season at Virginia
• Was named All-ACC Honorable Mention, named to the ACC All-Defensive Team and was inlcuded to the Naismith Men's Defensive Player of the Year watch list after his sophomore season
• Led the ACC in blocks per game (2.3), ranked 12th in rebounding (6.9 rpg) and 13th in offensive rebounds per game (2.2)
• Scored a career-high 19 points on Jan. 27, 2024 at Louisville to go along with 11 rebounds, one of his five double-doubles on the season
• Helped guide Virginia to an appearance in the NCCA Tournament before falling to Colorado State in the First Four in Dayton, Ohio
• Was named to the 2023 All-ACC Academic Team following his freshman season and made ACC Honor Roll
• Ranked in the ACC's top-11 in blocks per game both seasons, finishing 11th during the 2022-23 season and first in 2023-24
• Was a four-star recruit out of college and chose Virginia over offers from Minnesota, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Oklahoma State and Georgetown

• Has one brother, Justin, who was drafted by the New York Mets with the 19th overall pick in the 2016 MLB Draft as a pitcher and mad ehis MLB debut on Sept. 12, 2019 with the Seattle Mariners
