After opting to forgo college and prepare for the 2018 NBA Draft on his own accord, Robinson posted a standout rookie season highlighted by an NBA-leading 24 blocked 3-pointers, a second-overall finish in blocks per game, Knicks rookie records for both total blocks and consecutive games with at least one block, and a selection to the 2018-19 NBA All-Rookie Second Team. After his rookie season, Robinson continued to play five more seasons with the Knicks (2019-24). In 244 career games, Robinson has averaged 25.9 minutes, 8.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 0.7 assists.

Mitchell Robinson attended Chalmette High School in Louisiana, where he earned McDonald’s All-American, Naismith Trophy All-America Honorable Mention, and MaxPreps All-America Honorable Mention honors as a senior in 2017.
