🚨Buzzer to buzzer coverage of Sunday’s NBA action. 🚨

📖🍿TOP THREE STORYLINES FROM NOV. 3 🍿📖

  1. The Pistons got their second win of the season, boosting their record to 2-5. They dominated the second half, outscoring Brooklyn, 54-35. Detroit will look to carry that momentum back home when they host the 4-2 Lakers at 7:30 on Monday.
  2. The Pelicans were short-handed Sunday, with Zion Williamson and CJ McCollum both sidelined. However, they still had Brandon Ingram and the homecourt advantage on their side. That wasn’t enough Sunday, as Atlanta boosted their record to 3-4 off strong performances from Jalen Johnson and Trae Young, while New Orleans’ record fell to 3-4.
  3. The Magic dropped their third straight game, and second without Paolo Banchero. It’s not easy replacing a star of Banchero’s caliber, but Orlando will need to figure out how to win without him, as his return is still multiple weeks away. They’ll face the 6-0 Thunder in Oklahoma City on Monday.

💥TOP PERFORMERS FROM NOV. 3 💥

  1. Jalen Johnson finished a couple of digits shy of a triple-double in the Hawks’ convincing win over the Pelicans on Sunday. He tied a career-high with 29 points on 60% shooting and also contributed nine rebounds and eight assists.
  2. Brandon Ingram’s effort came in a loss, but his performance can’t be ignored. The 27-year-old scored north of 30 for the third time this season, putting in 32 points, seven rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal.
  3. Luka Dončić had another impressive performance Sunday and may have had a triple-double if the game didn’t get out of hand. Dončić posted 32 points (11-22 FG, 5-13 3PT), nine rebounds, and seven assists in the Mavericks victory.

3️⃣Key Storylines for Today

  1. The 1-5 Pistons look to get on track after a slow start to the season. They’ll be facing a 3-3 Nets team, who have won their last two games, getting the best of the Bulls and Grizzlies.
  2. The Hawks and Pelicans pulled off one of the biggest trades of the offseason when Atlanta sent Dejounte Murray to New Orleans. Unfortunately, for the Pelicans and Murray, he suffered a fractured hand and won’t be taking the court against his former team. They’ll also be without CJ McCollum (adductor strain) and Herbert Jones (shoulder). The Hawks are banged up as well and will be without De’Andre Hunter (knee) and Bogdan Bogdanovic (hamstring). Despite these absences, plenty of star power will still be on the court with Trae Young, Zion Williamson, and Brandon Ingram all in action tonight on NBA League Pass.
  3. Luka Dončić, Kyrie Irving, and the Mavericks will host the Magic, who are still adjusting to life without Paolo Banchero (oblique) for at least the next four weeks. They fell to Cleveland 120-109 on Friday, in their first game without him this season, but will work to get one in the win column against Dallas.
