NEW YORK, Dec. 14 -- The NBA announced Friday that Maurice Taylor of the Houston Rockets has been suspended without pay for five games for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. Because Taylor is currently injured, his suspension will commence with the first regular season or playoff game for which he is physically able to play.

The NBA, NBA teams and the NBPA are prohibited from publicly disclosing information regarding the testing or treatment of any NBA player in the program, other than to announce a player’s suspension or dismissal from the League.
