Stephen Curry’s red-hot finish — 12 points in the final 2:48, all on 3-pointers — helps Team USA hold off a spirited effort by Victor Wembanyama (26 points) and France on its home court, 98-87, to secure its fifth straight Olympic gold medal and 17th overall. Curry finished with 24 points and eight 3-pointers, giving him 60 and 17 respectively in the final two games of the Olympics. Kevin Durant and Devin Booker added 15 points apiece, and LeBron James totaled 14 points, six rebounds and 10 assists for the United States.
