NBA players, teams pay tribute to DMX after rapper's death

DMX, who produced the songs “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” and “Party Up (Up in Here),” died at age 50.

NBA players are paying their respects after Grammy-nominated hip-hop artist DMX, whose birth name was Earl Simmons, died at 50.

The news was announced Friday in a family statement.

Teams and players across the NBA, including the New York Knicks and LeBron James, offered their appreciation of the late rapper and actor.
