
Memphis Grizzlies big man Santi Aldama is headed to Dallas in a trade.
The Memphis Grizzlies traded Santi Aldama to the Dallas Mavericks for AJ Johnson, a protected 2030 Warriors first-round pick and two future second-round picks. The trade is part of a larger six-team deal that also includes the Wizards, Bucks, Pistons and Clippers.

Aldama averaged 14 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.9 assists in 43 games for the Memphis Grizzlies in 2025-26. The 30th overall pick out of Spain in the 2021 NBA Draft had spent his first five seasons with the Grizzlies.
Johnson was the No. 23 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. The 21-year-old averaged 3.3 points across 48 total games with the Mavericks and Wizards last season.
