EL SEGUNDO – Lakers forward Trevor Ariza had an arthroscopic debridement procedure performed on his right ankle, the team announced Wednesday.
According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, Ariza has been sidelined for the majority of training camp with the right ankle injury.

He will be reevaluated in approximately eight weeks and is expected to make a full recovery.
Ariza, 36, signed a one-year deal with the Lakers in August. The 6-foot-8 forward averaged 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds points in 30 appearances with Miami last season, his 10th team in 17 NBA campaigns.
