The LA Clippers 2024-25 City Edition uniform is Chapter Two of the story arc, celebrating the love of basketball that defines the city, culture and organization. Designed by renowned LA-based artist Jonas Wood—a lifelong basketball fan and Clippers season ticket holder—the uniform features a refreshed Pacific blue colorway for the base. It blends retro and modern styles, drawing inspiration from the Clippers’ 1980s uniforms and incorporating distinctive basketball elements.
Behind the design:
- The “Clips” Wordmark is a custom drawing by Jonas Wood. The nickname Wordmark also pays homage to classic Clippers Wordmarks. Also featuring Jonas Wood’s signature basketball illustration to dot the “i”.
- The Pacific Blue colorway is associated with the Clippers’ nautical heritage.
- The jock tag anthem features custom drawings of Wood’s signature basketballs, as well as his iconic plants that overlap the “Clippers” Wordmark and “2024-25” in Wood’s hand-drawn style.
- The shorts feature a custom logo drawing, incorporating key basketball illustrations into the Clippers secondary logo.
