Warriors vs. Pistons Odds & Picks: Warriors Keep Rolling at Home

Betsperts analyst Ron Klos goes over his best bets for the Warriors vs Pistons.

The Golden State Warriors will host the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday night at the Chase Center with tipoff set for 10:00 PM ET. Golden State has gone 5-0 on its current eight-game homestand, with the last four victories all coming by six or fewer points. Tonight they get an opportunity to avenge one of their earlier road defeats. Back in October, they lost 128-114 to the Pistons. Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins remain out for the Warriors as they look to avoid their first season-series sweep at the hands of the Pistons since the 2008-09 campaign. The Pistons continue to struggle as they fell on the road to Portland on Monday, 135-106. Detroit remains without Cade Cunningham and Isaiah Livers. Marvin Bagley is also out for the long-term after suffering a serious hand injury in the Portland game.

The Pistons are playing their 4th game on their western road trip and have already suffered losses of 14 and 29 points. They have lost 8 of 10 games overall and rank in the bottom-5 of both offensive and defensive efficiency The Warriors have found their groove without superstar Curry. Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole have picked up the slack as they combined for 82 points in their victory over the Hawks. Detroit is 2-6 ATS in their last eight games while the Warriors are 4-0-1 in their last five and 5-0-1 in their last six games against a team with a losing record.

Warriors vs Pistons Game Under 232 Points (-110 DraftKings)

Six of the last seven Warriors games have gone under this number as they have relied more on their defense with the likes of Curry and Wiggins out. While the Pistons are one of the worst defensive teams in the league, the Warriors don’t have the consistent scoring available to turn this into a high-scoring affair. Golden State also has defenders to cause problems for the Pistons leading scorer Bojan Bogdanovic.

Risk: 1.1 Units on DraftKings to win 1 unit. (Playable to 231)
