Holiday is putting together yet another solid two-way effort for the Bucks this season, en route to his second All-Star selection. However, for my best bet of the night, I’m looking to fade the UCLA product on his points line.

Holiday is averaging 18.2 points per game when playing alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo this season. In fact, he’s failed to clear this line in seven of his past 10 games with the former MVP active (scoring exactly 20 points in each of the three games he did surpass this points line).

And today, not only are Holiday and the Bucks facing the superior team defense of the Celtics (fourth in Defensive Rating, 110.5), but Boston will likely be without Jayson Tatum (doubtful) as well as Jaylen Brown .

While I don’t expect either player’s absence to affect Holiday’s individual matchup (Derrick White), it does increase the chance for a blowout, putting Holiday’s minutes ceiling in jeopardy.

And despite the fact he’s not playing full minutes yet, Khris Middleton is slated to be active tonight for the Bucks. The wing has compiled a 28% Usage thus far this season (second on the team to Antetokounmpo) and has started to regain his pre-injury form.

Holiday should be positioned as a facilitator tonight for the Bucks, as I’m projecting him at only 16 points. I’d play this line down to under 18.5 points tonight.

Pick: Holiday Under 19.5 points — Down to 18.5 points
