Portland Trailblazers at Indiana Pacers
The Portland Trailblazers are still trying to find their identity without Damian Lillard. They have some young players who will be future building blocks, but they are struggling to win now. Until the Trailblazers start to put together consistent wins, they are a team for bettors to avoid.
The Indiana Pacers are playing fantastic basketball. They have been hit or miss during the past few seasons, , but this year, they are finally starting to play a high level of basketball. That is mostly because Tyrese Haliburton emerged as an elite player. The Pacers are on their way up, and that gives them plenty of betting value.
Bet: Indiana Pacers -11.5 (-110)
Los Angeles Lakers at Philadelphia 76ers
The Los Angeles Lakers are wildly inconsistent. Sometimes, the Lakers look like an elite team that could win a championship. Other times, they look like the worst team in the NBA. That inconsistency is the reason that I am staying away from them tonight.
Philadelphia is a little more together this season. They have multiple players that can step up and score points. That gives this team more consistency. Bettors can take advantage of that tonight because Philadelphia has the advantage.
Bet: Philadelphia 76ers -5.5 (-110)
Washington Wizards at Detroit Pistons
These are the two worst teams in the NBA. They are both sitting at two wins and do not look like they are getting any better. When two bad teams are playing, I take the team with the most betting value because either of these teams could win tonight.
The Washington Wizards have the better odds for this game. They have been close to beating some of the better teams in the NBA. That means they are a few plays away from winning games. The better odds and their ability to keep games close make them a good bet tonight.
