The 2-15 Detroit Pistons will host the 10-8 Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night at Little Caesars Arena with tipoff set for 7:00 PM ET. The Pistons will try to avoid setting a franchise record with a 15th consecutive defeat. Coming off a 126-107 loss to the Wizards, Pistons star Cade Cunningham understands the urgency for Detroit to start winning games. “All these games are huge games for us right now. We’re trying to get out of this slump. We’re treating every game like it’s a must-win, as we should even if we are winning games.” The Lakers were also blown out in Philadelphia on Monday 138-94 and are just 3-6 on the road so far this season. The Lakers just started a stretch in which they play 10 of 12 games on the road. They are dealing with numerous injuries — rotation players Jarred Vanderbilt (heel), Gabe Vincent (knee), Cam Reddish (groin) and Rui Hachimura (nasal fracture) didn’t play in Philadelphia, and all four are expected out against Detroit. Both LeBron James and starting power forward Anthony Davis are also questionable.
