NBA Sleeper Picks Player Predictions (3/12/24)

Season record: 169-102

Tyrese Maxey (G – PHI): OVER 4.5 assists

Maxey is set to return for the 76ers tonight and should get close to a full workload since his injury was not lower body related (concussion). Maxey has put up five or more assists in five of his last six games and in 29 of his last 38. Tyrese dished out nine and five assists in his two previous games against the New York Knicks this season. Mash the More on Maxey for Tuesday night basketball.

Josh Hart (G/F – NYK): UNDER 4.5 assists

Hart is averaging 3.4 assists per game with Jalen Brunson in the lineup this season and just 3.5 on the season as a whole. This is the total Hart was tagged with when Brunson was sitting, so there is absolutely no reason for it to still be at 4.5 with Brunson back in the lineup. Hart has been an excellent secondary playmaker this season but is terribly inconsistent. He was on a roll with Brunson hurt but has dished out four and two assists in the two games since Jalen returned to the court. Hart recorded six, two, and three assists against the Philadelphia 76ers in his previous three games against them this season. Hit the Less on Hart for Tuesday night.

Domantas Sabonis (C – SAC): OVER 33.5 points + rebounds

Sabonis has been on a tear since the beginning of March, putting up monster averages of 22.2 points, 17.6 rebounds, and 8.2 assists. His rebounding has to dip eventually, so he won’t keep averaging 39.8 points + rebounds, but he is the reigning rebound champion and can hit the 20 rebound mark with more regularity than one would expect. Sabonis averaged 33.8 points + rebounds in February. Still, this total is going to come down to his point contribution tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks. In his previous meeting against Milwaukee, Domantas put up 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 15 assists. Dap the More on Sabonis for Tuesday night.

Writers note: The lines are constantly changing on Sleeper (and sometimes expiring), so there is a high probability that one or all of the numbers may no longer be the same when you open your app. There are excellent values when they are first posted, with the only catch being that they are not all released at the same time. Vigilance could provide a solid return on investment this season, literally.
