Jazz vs. Trail Blazers Betting Preview: Jazz to Cover in High Scoring Affair

Betsperts analyst Ron Klos previews his best bets for the Jazz vs the Blazers.

The Utah Jazz will host the Portland Trail Blazers on Saturday night at Vivant Arena with tipoff set for 9:00 PM ET. With a two-game winning streak, the Jazz appear to have righted the ship after a five-game skid. Portland lost for the seventh time in eight games on Wednesday, dropping a 128-109 decision to the host Los Angeles Lakers. The Blazers have been without injured star Damian Lillard for six consecutive games, and he will be out against the Jazz as well.

Jazz vs. Trail Blazers Best Bets

Jazz -4.5 (-110 DraftKings)

Portland enters this game on a 3-game losing streak and will be without two of their best players in Damian Lillard and Josh Hart. The Jazz are one of the best home teams in the league with an 8-3 record on the year. While the Jazz will miss Mike Conley who remains sidelined, they have plenty of firepower with the likes of Lauri Markkanen and Jordan Clarkson, among others. The Jazz defeated the Blazers just two weeks ago 118-113.

The Jazz have a five-game win streak against Portland and have covered the spread in each of those as well. Utah is 3-1 ATS in their last four while the Blazers are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games. Even though Utah played last night, they were dominant in their win over the Pacers and should be able to cover this short number.
