Hawks vs. Suns Prediction

Pick: Under 227.5

Hawks Betting Outlook

The Atlanta Hawks are one of the most disappointing teams in the league and seem to just be trying to reach the end of the season. They had nearly every player not named Trae Young and Jalen Johnson available on the trade block at the February deadline before standing pat.

This is a game where both Young and Johnson are injured and out, and the rumored players who know their time on the Hawks will not be long are asked to step up and take on a bigger responsibility. Players are auditioning for the next team and individual goals as opposed to playing under a cohesive team concept.

The Hawks do have a strong coaching staff and a rest advantage in this game, but the travel to a strong Phoenix atmosphere and the talent gap between the teams looms large. I expect the Hawks to live and die by the 3 in this matchup.

Suns Betting Outlook

Late March NBA basketball is usually a tale of attrition. A simple look into the injury report can glean so much insights for betting. The Phoenix Suns have been a team marred by injuries all season long, but they are finally healthy and starting to roll.

This is the second leg of back-to-back games for the Suns after they took care of the 76ers by double digits on Wednesday night. Consequently, there will be a rest disadvantage for the Suns, and we must question if their three stars will all be active for this game.

Either way, I expect at least two of Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and Bradley Beal to play, as well as all the role players. The talent advantage and home court will loom large in this game.

Hawks vs. Suns Picks, Odds

This is such a clear under spot and one to get ahead of and bet early. The Hawks have nearly a full roster listed on the injury report, and we have to wonder if the Suns are going to add any of their stars on the second leg of back-to-back games.

The pricing is certainly likely to drop. This presents significant value to get ahead of and obtain multiple points of Closing Line Value (CLV).

Pick: Under 227.5
