The Boston Celtics host the Heat Friday night and will try to close out the Eastern Conference finals in Game 6.
Robert Williams (59% opening-tip win rate) will be taking on Bam Adebayo (68% win rate) in the opening tip-off. Adebayo is 5-2 against Williams on opening tips over the past two seasons; it seems likely that Miami will control the tip.
Boston is first in the league at scoring first, converting the first basket 65% of the time. Miami is slightly below league average and scores first 48% of the time.
PJ Tucker and Jimmy Butler have seen an increase in early usage (i.e. taking one of the first three shots for their team) during the playoffs compared to the regular season. Butler had a terrible Game 5, and I think he looks to take an early shot to get back on track.
