The Cleveland Cavaliers head to Capital One Arena on Monday night for a contest against the Washington Wizards. Tip-off is set for 7:00 PM EST with the Cavs currently the road favorite. Let’s take a look at the odds and my best bets for this Eastern Conference tilt.

Cavaliers vs. Wizards Best Bets
Cavaliers -2.5 (-110 DraftKings)
Washington will be shorthanded in this one as they’ll likely still be playing without leading scorer Bradley Beal and will also be without the services of Kyle Kuzma. The Cavs’ prolific defense is not one to come in down a few offensive players, as they are allowing a league-low 106.8 points per game this season, (105.3 in the last three games), which is also tops in the NBA. Cleveland is 6-2 ATS in their last eight contests and this one should finish with the Cavs on top by more than those 2.5 points.
Risk: 1.1 units on DraftKings to win 1 unit. (Playable to -120)

Cavaliers vs. Wizards Game Total Under 222 (-110 DraftKings)
Unders are not usually my thing, but with the way the Cavs have been playing defense and the injuries to the Wizards, it’s tough to lean elsewhere. Cleveland is at or near the top in nearly every defensive category, including second in defensive efficiency (1.068), third in opponent floor percentage (49%), and first in fewest points allowed per game this season (106.8).
The under is 6-2 in Cleveland’s last eight games and 5-2 in the last seven matchups between these two teams.
Risk: 1.1 units on DraftKings to win 1 unit. (Playable to -115)
