Knicks Sign Jalen Harris

NEW YORK, Sep. 25, 2022 – The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed guard Jalen Harris to a contract. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Harris, 6-5, 195-pounds, was originally selected by Toronto in the second round (59th overall) of the 2020 NBA Draft. He holds career averages of 7.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists over 13.2 minutes in 13 games (two starts) for Toronto and has also appeared in two games for the Raptors 905.

The Dallas, TX-native played one season at University of Nevada (2019-20) after transferring from Louisiana Tech University (2016-18) where he played two seasons. At Nevada, he averaged a conference best 21.7 points to go along with 6.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.13 steals over 33.0 minutes in 30 games (all starts) en route to being named 2019-20 All-MWC First Team. A 2016-17 CUSA All-Freshman selection, Harris posted 10.9 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists over 22.9 minutes in 27 games (two starts) in his first year at Louisiana Tech.
