Knicks Sign Isaiah Roby

NEW YORK, April 9, 2023 – The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed forward Isaiah Roby to a contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Roby, 6-5, 222-pounds, averaged 4.1 points and 2.5 rebounds over 11.3 minutes in 42 games (two starts) this season for the San Antonio Spurs. He holds career averages of 7.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 18.9 minutes in 151 games (64 starts) over four seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder (2019-22) and San Antonio (2022-23).

Roby was originally selected by the Detroit Pistons in the second round (45th overall pick) of the 2019 NBA Draft out of the University of Nebraska before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks. The Dixon, IL-native spent three seasons at Nebraska averaging 8.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists over 23.9 minutes in 97 games (52 starts).
