Knicks Sign DaQuan Jeffries to 10-Day Contract

NEW YORK, March 5, 2023 – The New York Knicks announced today that the team has signed guard DaQuan Jeffries to a 10-day contract. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Jeffries, 6-5, 222-pounds, is averaging 20.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.5 assists over 33.1 minutes in 20 games for the Westchester Knicks. In 15 games (all starts) during the 2022 AT&T Winter Showcase, he averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists over 32.9 minutes. New York originally signed him to a two-way contract on Nov. 29, 2022. 

The Edmond, OK-native holds career averages of 3.8 points and 1.9 rebounds over 13.7 minutes in 47 games (five starts) over three seasons with Sacramento, Houston and Memphis. He appeared in five games for New York’s Summer League entry in July, averaging 8.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 1.4 assists over 21.7 minutes in five games in Las Vegas, NV.

He played collegiately at Oral Roberts (2015-16), Western Texas (2016-17) and Tulsa (2017-19). As a senior (2018-19), he averaged 13.0 points, 5.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.23 blocks and one steal over 28.1 minutes in 31 games, while earning Third Team All-American Athletic Conference honors.
