As part of their Back to School Initiative, the Warriors are visiting five Bay Area schools in five days. The back-to-school began on Monday, September 17 and will include school visits from Warriors players and coaches, as well as other events that help raise awareness about the importance of education. Warriors Team Up With Clorox To Clean Up The Classroom
Warriors guard Stephen Curry and Assistant Coaches Darren Erman and Kris Weems conducted classroom visits and distributed more than 580 backpacks to students at Garfield Elementary School in Oakland. The Warriors representatives offered words of inspiration to help motivate the students to do their best in school and to always strive to reach their goals.

Warriors Host Coach's Corner Inspired Timeout
Warriors broadcaster Tim Roye moderated a chalk talk between Warriors guard Charles Jenkins and Assistant Coach Jerry DeGregorio for student athletes at Aptos Middle School in San Francisco. After the chalk talk, Roye, Jenkins and DeGregorio participated in a Q&A session with the students and passed out raffle prizes.

Warriors Host Basketball Dream Clinic
Warriors legend Chris Mullin hosted a basketball clinic at Arroyo Viejo Recreation Center in Oakland. Mullin taught the kids the shooting fundamentals of the game, and they were able to put their new form into practice on the court through different shooting games and competitions.

Warriors Host Get Fit Timeout With Kaiser Permanente
Warriors forward Carl Landry and assistant coaches JoHan Wang and Kyle Barbour led a Get Fit Timeout at Allendale Elementary School in Oakland. Landry worked on basketball skills with the students, while the coaches instructed them on proper stretching techniques and dietary tips.

Warriors Host Rookie Reading Rally Presented by Ross Stores
Warriors rookies Harrison Barnes, Kent Bazemore, Festus Ezeli and Draymond Green visited Sobrante Park Elementary School in Oakland to pass out books and encourage the students to read. The students participated in a “Name That Book” reading challenge and also received a Warriors book cover, a ‘Read to Achieve’ t-shirt and their very own book to begin building their own personal library.
