Thunder Partners With Uber

Oklahoma City, Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2016 – The Oklahoma City Thunder has partnered with Uber as a way to provide fans with a safe and convenient way to get to and from Thunder games, the team announced today.

Beginning with the home opener on Friday, Oct. 28, fans can utilize the designated pickup and drop-off lot, which is located at Southwest 2nd Street and South Harvey Avenue, as detailed on the attached map.

“We are excited to partner with Uber to provide fans more options for getting to and from the arena on game nights,” said Dan Mahoney, vice president of Broadcasting and Corporate Communications for the Thunder. “Our fans now have a great option to get in and out of downtown quickly and safely from the new Uber lot without having to worry about parking or traffic."

“We are excited to team up with the Thunder to make sure fans have a safe, reliable ride to and from the arena,” said David Brightman, General Manager of Uber’s Oklahoma City operations. “Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for fans to enjoy game day. With Uber, getting a ride is as simple as tapping a button.”
