Thunder to Host Food Drive Before Game Wednesday

OKLAHOMA CITY, Tuesday, Nov. 23 – This Wednesday, prior to the Thunder vs. Dallas game, the Thunder will host a canned food drive benefiting the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. The food drive is part of the Thunder’s 2010 Holliday Assist, presented by Cox.

For each donation, fans will receive a raffle ticket for the chance to win prizes that include Thunder autographed player items and even a VIP package featuring courtside seats to that evening’s game and tickets to the Graham Colton annual Thanksgiving benefit concert later that night. The team is encouraging all fans to donate items such as canned meat, canned vegetables, canned fruit, canned tuna, peanut butter, rice and beans. In addition, Homeland will match the total number of donations brought to the Arena. Donation stations will be set up outside the Arena from 5:30 p.m. till tip, which is set for 7 p.m. National recording artist and Oklahoma native Graham Colton will be on hand to assist with donations.
