Limited Amount of Thunder Jerseys on Sale Tuesday

OKLAHOMA CITY, Monday, Dec. 22, 2008 – The Oklahoma City Thunder announced today that an unexpected, early arrival of Thunder youth jerseys will be available for purchase on Tuesday, Dec. 23 beginning at 10 a.m. at the ThunderShop in downtown Oklahoma City. Thunder officials urge the shipment is a very limited quantity, less than 100. They are numbers 35 and 34, Kevin Durant and Desmond Mason.

The ThunderShop is located on the ground floor of Leadership Square in downtown Oklahoma City at 211 N. Robinson. A limited quantity of Thunder adidas youth, replica road and home jerseys will be available for $50 and swingman for $80. There is a limit of two jerseys per household. Youth jersey sizes include S, M, L and XL.

“We were not expecting this early arrival, but it comes at a great time—just a few days before Christmas,” said Thunder spokesman Dan Mahoney. “We feel the best thing to do is to put them on sale and give everyone a fair shot at buying this limited quantity.”

The remaining supply of adult and youth jerseys is not scheduled to arrive until mid-January. In late September, the ThunderShop began accepting pre-orders for jerseys. Fans can continue to pre-order authentic, swingman and replica Thunder jerseys in a variety of sizes by visiting thunder.nba.com or by visiting the ThunderShop in Leadership Square.
